To Obtain the Films

  • To receive the compilation, please send a request by email to biblio@onf.ca. If possible, include the planned date and time of the screenings.
  • The National Film Board of Canada (NFB) will then send you the MP4 file of the compilation, along with promotional images, via WeTransfer. If you prefer to receive the films as individual files or in another format (for example: DVD or Blu-ray), please specify this in your request.
  • Upon receiving the files, please ensure that you download and test them to confirm compatibility with your equipment.
  • When promoting the program, please include the logo of the National Film Board of Canada (NFB), a link to onf.ca, or a mention indicating that the compilation is an NFB selection.
  • After each screening — or on a weekly or monthly basis — please report the total number of attendees to biblio@onf.ca.

The National Film Board of Canada (NFB) is committed to respecting copyright and the work of the artists, technicians, and specialists who contributed to these works. The files received must be deleted after the screenings or at the end of the summer. DVDs and Blu-ray discs must be returned by mail or destroyed if return is not possible.

To respect screening rights, the website onf.ca may not be used for a public screening unless a license has been obtained in advance from the National Film Board of Canada (NFB). To obtain a license or for any related questions, please contact the NFB directly.
