Join the St. Albert-Sturgeon Chapter of Friends of Medicare for a free screening of the documentary, Stolen Time. This powerful film follows elder rights lawyer, Melissa Miller, as she takes on Canada’s corporate for-profit nursing-home industry. Watch the trailer.

We’re also excited to be joined by local family physician, Dr. Ben Macedo, and Friends of Medicare’s executive director, Chris Gallaway, for a panel discussion following the film.

Doors will open at 5:30 pm, and the screening will begin at 6:00. This event is free and open to the public, but RSVP is requested. Don’t miss it!

“…a powerful film that really delivers a punch!” – Mike Cohen, The Suburban

“…exposes brutal corporate crime in the long-term care industry. The NFB’s chilling documentary reminds us that a society is measured by the compassion it extends to its most vulnerable.” – Adrian Mack, Stir
