Join us every Friday for something fabulous! Exhibitions, films, café, and gift shop. Let The Rooms be your date night location, family time-space, or a friends evening out locale!

Admission includes access to all of our exhibitions and a complimentary ticket for a National Film Board of Canada feature film. The Café is also open until 9 pm for dinner or a quick bite before catching the film in the theatre!

Each week will feature a full-length film and/or a short in partnership with The National Film Board of Canada.

Conviction | Directors, Nance  Ackerman, Ariella Pahlke, Teresa MacInnes | 2019 | 78 min

Conviction envisions alternatives to prison through the eyes of women behind bars and those fighting on the front lines of the decarceration movement. Not another ‘broken prison’ film, this collaboration is a ‘broken society’ film—an ambitious and inspired re-build of our community, from the inside out. The film compels viewers to examine why we imprison the most vulnerable among us, and at what cost.

Mystery of the Secret Room | Wanda Nolan | 2016 | 5 min 41 s

This animated short introduces us to Grace, a 10-year-old girl who uses her creative superpowers to navigate the emotional landscape of her mother’s depression. It’s an inspiring portrait of family, adversity, and resilience.
