 o Public Library - Parliament Street Branch is offering free screening of 
 the following short film\, in celebration of National Indigenous History M
 onth :\n\nEvan’s Drum (Ossie Michelin | 2021 | 14 min)\n\nAn adventu
 rous young boy and his determined mother share a passion for Inuit drum da
 ncing in Happy Valley-Goose Bay. Evan’s Drum is a joyful visit to a fa
 mily’s loving home\, and an uplifting story of cultural pride. After gen
 erations of silence\, the rhythm of the traditional Inuit drum has returne
 d to Labrador\, and seven-year-old Evan is part of the new generation that
  will keep its heartbeat strong.\n\n-----\n\nThe screening of the film wil
