 votal moments that sparked Canada’s 2SLGBTQI+ movement\, honouring the 
 activists and elders whose resistance led to the rights we have today.\n\n
 Through rarely seen archival footage and first-person accounts\, audiences
  are brought to the frontlines of the struggle. From police raids to early
  drag shows\, community organizing to the House of Commons—the complex
  history of the country’s diverse communities is brought to life. Key 
 milestones illustrate the power of taking it into the streets and undersc
 ore how easily the rights we’ve fought for can be revoked\, making the d
 ocumentary essential viewing for all Canadians.\n\nUnflinching\, bold\, en
 raging\, hopeful\; Parade is a vital new chapter in the queer canon.\n\n
 \n\nThe film screening will be followed by a panel discussion and Q and A 
 with Albert McLeod\, Connie Merasty\, Myra Laramee\, producer Justine Piml
 ott\, and writer and director Noam Gonick.\n\nPrior to the film\, attendee
 s are invited to Buhler Hall to explore the new exhibition Love in a Dange
 rous Time: Canada’s LGBT Purge and participate in an art making activity
