 Big River Again  (Lyana Patrick | 2025 | 90 min)\n\nNechako is a story o
 f survival 70 years in the making\, beginning in the early 1950s in northw
 estern BC\, when the Kenney Dam was built to power an aluminum smelter. Th
 is for-profit megaproject diverted 70% of the Nechako River into an artifi
 cial reservoir\, flooding lands\, displacing wildlife and severely impacti
 ng the lives of local Stellat’en and Saik’uz Nations. The dam decimate
 d salmon runs\, which are vital to the Nations’ way of life and compose 
 up to 90% of their diet.\n\nFast forward to the present day\, as the Natio
 ns wage a potentially precedent-setting legal battle against Rio Tinto Alc
 an\, the global mining conglomerate responsible for the dam. Amidst large-
 scale environmental destruction and despite the will of powerful instituti
 ons\, this crucial documentary is a chronicle of hope and resistance again
