 ry is offering a free screening in recognition of World Refugee Day on Jun
 e 20th of the following film \n\nFrom Sherbrooke to Brooks - Inside a Mig
 ration Corridor (Roger Parent | 2016 | 1 h 7)\nIn French with English sub
 titles\n\n\n\nThis documentary travels the migration corridor forged betwe
 en Sherbrooke\, Quebec\, and the town of Brooks\, Alberta\, by French-spea
 king Africans. Most have come from the Democratic Republic of Congo\, some
  by way of refugee camps in Uganda and Tanzania. Unable to find employment
  in Quebec\, they travelled out West. An interweaving of personal stories 
 and the filmmaker’s own trips back and forth through the corridor offer 
 an honest look at how much work is yet to be done to successfully integrat
 e these newcomers.\n\n\n\n---\n\nThe library will be showing two films foc
 using on the refugee experience: From Sherbrooke to Brooks followed by See
 king Asylum\, which follows a migrant through the flawed asylum process in
