DESCRIPTION:The Dawson City International Short Film Festival will feature 
 a program of the following family-friendly NFB shorts as part of its 'For 
 The Kids' screening on March 30:\n\nThe Girl With the Red Beret (2023)\n\n
 A girl takes a ride on the Montreal metro\, which becomes the unlikely ven
 ue for a strange and wonderful musical journey.\n\nArctic Song (2021)\n\nA
 rctic Song tells stories of how the land\, sea and sky came to be in beau
 tifully rendered animation. Telling traditional Inuit tales from the Iglul
 ik region of Nunavut through song\, the film revitalizes ancient knowledge
  and shares it with future generations.\n\n100 Miles (2022)\n\nAre we ther
 e yet? When the kids act up in the back seat\, a family road trip gets kno
 cked hilariously off course.\n\nHedgehog's Home (2017)\n\nExquisitely dire
 cted by Eva Cvijanović and based on the classic story by Branko Ćopić\,
  a writer from the former Yugoslavia\, Hedgehog’s Home is a warm and u
 niversal tale for young and old that reminds us there truly is no place li
 ke home.\n\nThe Mountain of SGaana\n\nThe Mountain of SGaana spins a magi
 cal tale of a young man who is stolen away to the spirit world\, and the y
 oung woman who rescues him. Haida filmmaker Christopher Auchter’s dream-
 like gem brilliantly entwines traditional animation with formal elements o
 f Haida art\, which are brought to life by a rich\, evocative palette and
