 e NFB\, is pleased to invite you to an Artist’s Talk with Eloi Champagne
 .\nEloi Champagne leads the development and implementation of the NFB’s 
 tech strategies. He worked as the Technical Director at the English Animat
 ion Studio for about 12 years before becoming the Head of Technical Direct
 ion and Production Technologies. With extensive expertise in visual effect
 s and a broad network of contacts within the industry\, he continuously in
 novates with film teams by providing original technical and technological 
 solutions that help push the boundaries of auteur animation.\n\nWhat does 
 a technical director actually do in the world of animation? In this behind
 -the-scenes talk\, Eloi will draw on his experience at the NFB to explore 
 the unique intersection between technology and creativity. Using recent NF
 B films that he and his team have contributed to\, Eloi will demonstrate h
 ow specific artistic challenges have generated innovative technical approa
 ches and how technical problems have led to unexpected creative breakthrou
