DESCRIPTION:We’re pleased to invite you to an Artist’s Talk featuring f
 ilmmaker Diane Obomsawin.\nDiane Obomsawin is a Montreal-based graphic art
 ist and animator of Abenaki descent. Her acclaimed short films are known f
 or their wry humour and engaging visual economy. I Like Girls\, the film 
 adaptation of her graphic novel about sexual identity\, has screened at mo
 re than 40 international festivals\, winning top honours at the Ottawa Int
 ernational Animation Festival. Obomsawin publishes graphic novels under th
 e pseudonym Obom.\n\nHer most recent animated short\, I Don’t Love You 
 Anymore\, is a humorous exploration of the red flags we choose to ignore t
 o keep a relationship alive. The project is her eighth collaboration with 
 the National Film Board of Canada.\n\nDuring this presentation\, Diane wi
 ll discuss the making of her latest short film. The filmmaker will reveal 
 some of the most unique and surprising aspects of the creative process beh
 ind I Don’t Love You Anymore\, which will have its world premiere at the
  2026 Ottawa International Animation Festival.\n\nAs space is limited\, pl
