DESCRIPTION:As part of THE NFB IN LIBRARIES programming\, the Central Libra
 ry of the Vancouver Public Library will present A Return to Memory to high
 light International Women's Day.\n\nA Return to Memory  a film by Donald M
 cWilliams (2024 | 116 minutes)\n\n\nWhen Canada entered World War II\, the
  National Film Board suddenly had an urgent new mission—and hundreds of 
 women stepped forward\, helping to create Canadian cinema as we now know i
 t.\n\nAfter the screening there will be a Q&amp\;A with Michelle van Beuse
 kom\, who had the original idea for the film and contributed to the film. 
 Michelle previously served as the NFB’s Executive Director of English la
 nguage production studios\, and is the current CEO of the Knowledge Networ
